Nowhere to run...Nowhere to hide!

I'm a 23 year old Hispanic male from the lame and boring Texas town of Carrollton (suburb of Dallas). I spend Sunday thru Thursday getting up at 7 a.m. to sit on my ass in front of a computer for eight hours doing tech support for a major computer retailer's corporate facility. It may not be the best place in the world right now, but as long as it pays the bills and puts some change in my pocket, I'm not going to complain...much.




Anwyay, my main areas of interest are computers, video games, electronics, movies, music, RPGs, 80s cartoons and toys, and sports. I love spending time with my friends drinking beer and playing XBOX on weekends. I'm a big time Halo addict, and I also love "survival horror" style games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil. I also enjoy vintage arcade games like Pac-Man, Galaga, Dig Dug, etc.





Now don't let that fool you. I'm not a full time geek. I understand there's more to life than toys and video games. I'm also a big fan of all kinds of movies, especially ones written and directed by Tim Burton, Kevin Smith, M. Night Shyamalan, and Quentin Tarantino. I try to go to new movies every Friday or Saturday morning. I also enjoy a wide variety of music. I love 80's metal, 90's alternative (I hate the term "grunge"), industrial, techno, j-pop, and a little bit of rap and R&B. As far as sports goes, I'm a big fan of hockey and football. Gotta support my Dallas Stars and Buffalo Bills (I like the Cowboys too). I'm also I big fan of webcomics like Megatokyo and Penny-Arcade. Lastly, I also enjoy going out to bars and clubs with my friends. I'm not much of a drinker, but I do like to have a good time when I manage to get out of the house.






If you want to be added to my LJ, please let me know first. Please don't just add me, and then expected to be added back right off the bat. I don't add people I don't know to my friends list just for the Hell of it. At least be cool enough to introduce yourself and tell me why you're adding me, and most likely I'll add you back. Having random strangers add me for no apparent reason freaks me out...and pisses me off.

Oh yeah, and let be known that I don't hold anything back. If you find something I post offensive, then tough shit! I'm not forcing anyone to read this. Like I said above, I'm a big time game and movie addict, and I complain about the negative things in my life alot. The majority of what I post about consists of these things, so if you find this stuff "stupid and boring" you're waisting your time here.

I usually just post about my day or what's going on at the moment, but I have my dark, morbid, and suicidal moments too. At times I may seem like a real ass, or maybe a little whiny, but if you take the time to get to know me, you'll find out I'm a pretty cool guy.
